Sunday Sketchbook ... Sea Turtle Adventures

"I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
    I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.

Many are the woes of the wicked,
    but the Lord’s unfailing love
    surrounds the one who trusts in him."

- Psalm 32:8,10 -

This sea turtle needs a name.  What would you name him?  Where do you think he is headed?

Wolverines are known for traveling great distances, some at least 15 miles per day in search of food.

 β€œNow then, tell my servant David, β€˜This is what the Lord Almighty says: I took you from the pasture, from tending the flock, and appointed you ruler over my people Israel.  I have been with you wherever you have gone."

I Chronicles 17:7-8

We have bunnies in our backyard.  When I leave home for work, they are usually outside making themselves comfortable in our driveway.   When I get home from work at dusk, they are in the backyard munching on juicy blades of grass.  They let us walk up to them within 2 feet of distance, but we respect their space and let them be.

I admire our backyard bunnies for their gentleness, calmness, carefulness, and courage.

fear not, for I am with you;
    be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
    I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Isaiah 41:10

P.S.  I illustrated my first book about a brave little bunny too.  It's called The Rabbit Who Wished He Could Fly.  You can pick up a copy at your local bookstore or by ordering online here
