Sketchbook Journal - March Pages

Last week's pages, all filled in.
I used scraps of paper, watercolor, washi tape...
and a quote to help me get through a silly frustration.

I'm also a big fan of Handbook Journals.

Do you have a favorite quote to help you deal with every day annoyances?

Gratitude Journal - Dinner Time

After a long day at work, it's nice to sit down with my little family.

Sometimes I take it for granted though...
Sometimes I wish I could rush through dinner so that I can get a bazillion other things done.
(It's during those times that I eye Jason from my chair and wonder why it takes him so. long. to eat!)

But when I think about it, I appreciate this time of the day the best.

Jason makes dinner.
Ashley and I set the table.
We bow our heads in prayer.
We catch up on our days.
Jason and Ashley mischievously joke with each other across the table.
I can unwind and be myself.

Best of all,
I love that I can come home to my two favorite people.

What do you like best about your dinnertime routine?

My sister hooked me up with some old roofing slates to paint a few weeks ago.
(She is always looking out for me.)
I painted a couple by request for her and another friend,
and then I made this one for myself:
The quote is an old saying my mom would tell us kids when we were younger.

I had fun painting the slates.
But it got me thinking too:
I would like to paint a few more like it,
and then offer them and a few other goodies to you guys.
My goal is to open an Etsy Shop.

I am a newbie to Etsy,
but I hope to have it figured out and running by the end of April.
It would be nice to have a little shop going.  :-)

Do any of you do Etsy?
Maybe you guys have some good tips and helpful hints to get started!
