DIY Pin Board

It's no secret that I love Pinterest
but, I've always wanted a tactile inspiration board for myself too.

My sister & I decided to head out to the craft store and make some for ourselves.
We picked out some old, pretty frames and purchased a roll of cork board.
We simply removed the backing to the frame and replaced it with the cork.

Mine now hangs in my hallway.

I'm easily inspired by:

old family photos
blue & greens
my daughter's poetry
a cute family of bears
Abe Lincoln quotes
...

What gets your creative juices flowing?  :-)

  5. I love your creative inspiration board. I love the little watercolor of the cockatiel. I have one just like that - his name is Birdy Boy and I've had him for over 15 years now. That photo of the bears is just too cute. Love your artwork. xx
