I love tulips.
I was in my late 20's when I realized that I could buy myself my own flowers,
(and not have to wait for my husband to give them to me on anniversaries. :))
I love that there are flowers bursting all around me in March and April.
Makes waiting through the cold, Pennsylvania winters worth it.

Oh yes, I have many favorite flowers, Hydrangeas, Roses, Freesias etc. etc., but Tulips are wonderful too, and these are really beautiful, bright bold colors, very lovely.
