Even though it's not completely finished, it's one of my personal favorites.

Pencil Cup
Hurricane Irene rolled through our area this weekend.
Made a pencil cup out of scrapbook paper, mod podge, and a frozen fruit juice container to pass the time.
Grateful to have a warm, safe home....

Sketchbook Journal - August
in watercolor. prepared for next week. ..
The thing I love best about painting in these tiny, 3"x5" pages is that you can experiment with different styles without feeling intimidated by a huge, blank canvas.

Tiger in Pencil
This guy's gaze looked so gentle and warm in the photo I found of him 10 years ago.
I drew him while I was in high school. I can't believe it's been that long!

Encouraging Words
My dad is one of my biggest supporters. He's loved me at my worst and cheered me on at my best.
Words can't describe how grateful I am for him.
I want to extend this encouragement to anyone who may feel down on themselves every now-and-again too. ♥
